Massachusetts cranberries are more than just a staple of New England’s culinary heritage, they're a powerhouse of health benefits that people don’t realize. Unlike mass-produced cranberry products, fresh, locally grown cranberries from family-owned bogs provide superior nutritional value and are free from excessive processing and additives. However, small cranberry farms are struggling to survive.

Massachusetts has long been known as the cranberry capital of the world. But, the once-thriving industry is now in crisis. Small family-owned cranberry farms are disappearing, production decreasing, and state lawmakers are failing to provide the support needed to keep these farmers in business. The Save Massachusetts Cranberry Bogs Foundation has stepped up to offer grower grants and assistance.
